Climate Change Bill Roadmap

As a member of the Joint Oireachtas Environment Committee we invited Minister Phil Hogan to discuss his strategy on introducing a climate change bill on Thursday 15th December 2011. I asked him to indicate a date for publication of a heads of bill and to consider a twin track approach on drafting the bill and policy analysis. He indicated a date of late 2012 for publication, and gave us a commitment to publish a road map which he did this year.
